3rd World Championships will be from the 15-21 July 2018.

This will be around Bloemfontein, Free State Province, South Africa.  Proposed Shooting program will be as follows:

• Sunday 15 July - Registration for 223
• Monday 16 July - 223
• Tuesday 17 July - 223
• Wednesday 18 July – 223
• Wednesday evening - Registration Open Class
• Thursday 19 July – Open
• Friday 20 July – Open
• Saturday – Open class - Prize Giving the evening.

Team scores of the 223 and the Open Class will be added from the individual scores.

Prize giving and function the Saturday evening.

Fichardtpark is the closest suburb to Oude Kraal and are adjoining the N1 freeway.
This is 25 minutes drive from the farm.

New rifle class

A new class, limited to rifles chambered for standard 222 and 223 production rifles is finalised. It is suggested that this new class must be shot on a seperate range on a seperate date. Specifications for the new class are as follows:
a. Caliber is Standard 222 Rem and Standard 223 Rem.
b. Maximum weight for rifle, silencer and telescope is 6kg.
c. Barrel length from front of action is 26 inches.
d. Maximum scope magnification is 14x.
e. No turrets will be used during the shoot.
f. Turrets will be sealed by the range officers before start of the match.
g. Any type of crosshair is allowed.
h. No muzzle breaks are allowed.
i. No semi-automatic rifles allowed.

Depending on the interest in, and growth of the new class, national teams will also be selected to compete in this new class. Changes in the equipment specifications can occur as the class develops.
